How much is delivery?
Your order can be delivered to anywhere throughout Australia by either standard (road) freight or premium (express) delivery.
Standard/Road Freight: 2 - 5 working days*
* Freight delivery times stated are for average volume items with total order weight under 5kg for metro areas in eastern states. Additional delivery time may result for some deliveries. Please allow extra time for delivery to western states. Premium freight is not available on oversized or bulky items. Contact the Techstore should you require more details.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched from our warehouse you will receive an email with your tracking number. Your tracking number can also be found by logging into your account online and viewing your order history. Please allow 24 hours for your tracking number to be activated by our courier company.
Where do you ship to?
Jaycar.com.au only ships to addresses within Australia. For delivery to New Zealand please visit www.jaycar.co.nz. International shipping coming soon, please contact us directly for other international orders at this time.
Do you ship to PO Boxes?
If shipping to a PO Box you must select standard delivery during checkout. Goods cannot be delivered to a post office box via road or air courier service.
Do I have to sign for delivery?
Yes, someone must be available to receive the delivery. We do not under any circumstances issue instructions to our shippers to leave shipments unattended when no one is at the delivery location. If you miss your delivery a note will be left by the courier company with instructions on how you can collect your parcel.
Are my details secure?
Yes, your details including credit card information are secure. The transactional component of the Jaycar website uses a secure 128-bit server. The secure payment gateway handles any credit card details. No credit card details are kept by Jaycar.
What payment methods do you accept?
Our website accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Paypal, Zip & Humm for Australian customers.
Can I make changes to my order?
Once an order has been submitted we are unable to make any amendments, including changing the shipping address, adding or removing items, changing quantities or to cancel your order.
What other methods of ordering are available?
We are also able to process orders via phone, fax, mail or in-store. For phone orders please call 1800 022 888. For orders via fax please download an order form below and fax to 02 8832 3118. For mail orders please post to Jaycar Electronics, PO Box 7172, Silverwater NSW 1811. Alternatively you can fill in an order form and take it in-store.

Do international customers have to pay customs and duty charges?
International orders (excluding New Zealand) do not include Australian GST and may be subject to local charges. Any customs or import duties and associated fees are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. For further information, please contact your local customs office.
Managing your account
Do I need an online account to place an order?
No, you do not need to create an account to place an order online, you can simply checkout through our guest checkout feature. We recommend creating an account to speed up your future checkout process, retrieve past orders and store and maintain addresses and settings.
How do I create an account?
You can create an account by filling your details here and clicking register. You can also create an account during the checkout process.
I enter my email address and password, but I can't log in.
Enabling cookies in your browser settings should solve this. For instructions on how to enable your cookies, please see your browser's Help documentation.
I've forgotten my password.
Please click here and enter your email address and a link to change your password will be emailed to you. For security purposes the password reset email will expire within 30 minutes. Please update your password within 30 minutes of requesting the password update.
How do I update my address?
Click the My Account or Register/Login link at the top of any page. Once logged in click on Address Book, you can either add a new address or edit an existing address. Please note this will not update the address for orders already placed.
How do I return an order placed online?
Items purchased online can be returned to any Jaycar company owned store. Please present your tax invoice, which you would have received to the email address you submitted at the time of placing your order, in order for your return/refund to be processed in-store. If you cannot locate your tax invoice please contact us so we can organise for it to be resent.
Items purchased online can also be returned by mail at your own expense. Please contact our Customer Service Team on 1800 022 888 and follow their instructions on how to return the product. Returns lodged through mail may take up to 14 working days to process. Please note Jaycar will not refund the delivery fee unless products are determined to be faulty under the Australian Consumer Law.
