An easy way to provide pulse rate measurements from a person’s finger, earlobe or wrist to your electronics project. At the heart of the board is the MAX30102 IC, which is an integrated pulse oximeter and heart rate monitor sensor. Data from this sensor is communicated to your microcontroller using standard I2C communications. Other features include ambient light suppression and low-noise circuitry for optimum performance. The tiny board measures just 20 x 15mm, and runs from 1.8V to 5V (optional 1.8V or 3.3V IIC voltage switching onboard).
