Mp-3051 or MP-3053
Would the extremely frequent switching on/off at 'secondary' output/load side damage either the switchmode or the 'load': being either a regulated driver cct or just a simple current limiting resistor & luxeon.
coz wanting to triac the luxeon cct from a fribulatin' optoisolator.

alrighty then...

Have been talked out of using either of these units to power Luxeons... by Jaycar Darwin Sales Assistant: Michael.
The apparent reason is the 'secondary' 'dislikes' being unloaded.

PC switchmode power supplies are are different matter, they got 'dummie loads' for unloaded occurences, but I don't know which 2 pins to bridgeshort 'ON'. Do you?

Got a AA-0582 PSU Driver Module to suit '1W star LED'. Simple PDF from Electus: no data in Jaycar catalogue. (SuperBrightsStars also Electus.)
Would you optoisolate/triac before or after this Driver Module?
