These versatile LED light strips feature 30 SMD LEDs mounted on a 480mm long piece of 8mm wide PCB. Their clever design makes them a lot more useful than many others, using a series/parallel combination to take care of power distribution. The design features a main voltage rail that runs the entire length, which makes it very easy to add extra boards in parallel. Here is where it gets interesting. The components are broken up into 10 groups containing three LEDs and a voltage drop resistor. Each group is then paralleled to the board. This ensures that there are no voltage issues along the line and also something more. Each group can operate independently, and even be cut free and used as an independent 3-LED light running from 12VDC. They are really versatile, and you can find all the data on our website.
